Latest Released BIOS

*NOTE: BIOS binary has NOT changed. The update process tools has been updated to support additional SPI parts only.

*NOTE: To update an existing terminal which has BIOS earlier than 6.4.2.2, it is required to use the SPI files update the entire SPI ROM image. The BIOS Files can be used to update an existing terminal with BIOS 6.4.2.2 or later.
Directions for updating the BIOS - set up the terminal to boot off of the CD or USB key. BIOS update is automatic for CD or USB key boots. This a multiple boot process. Terminal should reboot 3 times. First boot to start process with CD or USB key, second boot to finish the BIOS update process and the third boot takes the terminal back to normal operation (remove CD or USB key for this boot). The same boot media, CD or USB key, needs to be booted the 2nd time from either the CD or USB key media to complete the BIOS/SPI update process. The update process will pause 2 minutes at completion before rebooting automatically. The CD or USB key should be removed prior to that reboot which is the third boot back to normal operation.

*NOTE: It is strongly recommended to read the README file to ensure the complete BIOS/SPI update process is followed.
